Varekai by Cirque du Soleil

Well, i thought since i was in Brisbane i should see and many shows and do as much shopping as i can so i also bought tickets to Varekai by Cirque du Soleil which looks like its going to be an amazing show.

Here is an exert from the ticketek website:

Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world-a world where something else is possible. A world called Varekai.

From the sky falls a solitary young man, and the story of Varekai begins. Parachuted into the shadows of a magical forest, a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastical creatures, this young man sets off on an adventure both absurd and extraordinary. On this day at the edge of time, in this place of all possibilities, begins an inspired incantation to life rediscovered.

So that should be excellent, i havent stayed in Brisbane before apart from the Medina Apartments, any recomendations for accomodation.

Elton John...

Well I'm going to Brisbane to see Elton John, i have never seen one of his concerts before and i am so excited to be going. My parents have been to a few and tell me that are something to be seen.

I would have to rate Elton John and Bernie Taupin as one of the greatest singer songwriter duo's on the planet without out exception.

Im mean such Mega Hits like Rocket Man, Your Song, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Tiny Dancer, Your Song, Daniel, Sacrifice, I Guess Thats Why They Call It The Blues, amoung countless others.

Such an amazing talent and career that has spanned decades.

I cant wait. November 26th 8pm.
